Service Technician - High-Pressure Water Cleaners

About the role

Spitwater is hiring a full-time Service Technician in Wetherill Park, New South Wales, to install, maintain and repair high-pressure water cleaners and other industrial cleaning equipment. Candidates can choose between Field Technicians, who travel to customer sites, and Workshop Technicians, who stay at the Wetherill Park facility.

Key responsibilities

• Field Technicians: travel to customer sites to install, maintain and repair equipment, provide on-site technical support and training, and diagnose and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.
• Workshop Technicians: perform repairs, maintenance and modifications in the workshop, prepare and test equipment before dispatch, and help manage workshop operations and inventory.
• Both roles: give technical advice to customers and distributors, prepare service documentation such as invoices, quotes and maintenance records, collect and analyse service data, and ensure work meets safety standards and company policies.

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience as a Service Technician, preferably with small machinery or industrial equipment; specific experience with high-pressure water cleaners is highly advantageous.
• Technical or trade qualification in mechanical or electrical fields; restricted electrical work licence or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift licence preferred.
• Valid driver's licence and permanent residency with the right to work in Australia.
