Service Technician – Earthmoving & Construction Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a professional Service Technician to join our Melbourne‑based team. The role involves delivering service, diagnostics and maintenance for a range of earthmoving, construction and material‑handling equipment across metropolitan and regional Victoria.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnosis on equipment.
• Carry out major and minor services, maintenance and component replacements.
• Provide field service and support to customers, expanding and maintaining relationships.
• Travel to customer sites as required and operate a fully maintained service vehicle.

Required profile

• Trade qualification as a Diesel/Plant Mechanic.
• Extensive experience with earthmoving, construction and material‑handling machinery.
• Ability to fault‑find and rectify hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to work overtime and travel.
• Strong customer‑service focus and a “can‑do” attitude.
• Commitment to workplace safety guidelines.
