Service Team Lead

About the role

Troocoo is recruiting, on behalf of a well-established organisation, a Service Team Lead in Sydney. The role oversees operational performance, customer service delivery, equipment reliability and field-based teams across a geographically diverse service network. It is a hands-on leadership position with significant autonomy, open to service or operations professionals who enjoy balancing people leadership, customer relationships, continuous improvement and operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a dispersed team of field-based technicians
• Drive service quality, responsiveness and operational performance
• Maximise equipment uptime, reliability and customer satisfaction
• Manage installation projects and operational rollouts
• Monitor operational costs, travel expenditure and inventory utilisation
• Build relationships with customers, site partners and suppliers
• Manage subcontractor performance and service delivery standards
• Analyse operational performance to identify improvement opportunities
• Work with internal stakeholders to support business growth and customer retention
• Ensure consistent operational standards across the service network

Required profile

• Proven experience leading service operations, field service, maintenance, logistics, technical services or asset-based operations
• Strong people leadership and team development capability
• Experience managing service delivery across multiple locations
• Commercial awareness, balancing service outcomes and cost control
• Ability to manage contractors, suppliers or service partners and to build credibility with customers and stakeholders
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to travel when required
