Supplier and Inventory Analyst

About the role

Qantas is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Supplier and Inventory Analyst to support procurement, inventory and supplier management activities within Group Asset Management. The role supports Ground Support Equipment (GSE) across the Qantas Group's national and international network, ensuring inventory availability and operational continuity. It is a permanent full-time position based at the Mascot Campus.

Key responsibilities

• Support purchasing, inventory control and accounts processes, working closely with operational teams, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency and operational performance.
• Act as a key support resource for the IFS system, helping users with purchasing, inventory and supplier activities.
• Contribute to inventory and procurement best practice.

Required profile

• Experience in supply chain, inventory, procurement, logistics or asset management environments.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, accounts payable and invoice processing.
• Understanding of procurement and finance policies, processes and controls.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements, manage competing priorities and deliver operational efficiencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including supplier engagement.

Required skills

• Experience with inventory management systems (IFS highly desirable).
• Strong commercial acumen, balancing operational, compliance and cost outcomes.
