Service Manager

About the role

atWork Australia supports people living with disability, injury, health condition or who need additional support to find meaningful and sustainable employment. As a Service Manager you will support, lead and coach a team of like-minded people, model the company values and live and breathe employment services. The position is based in Norlane and is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure team key performance indicators and contractual obligations are consistently met and exceeded
• Set clear direction for the team's effective operation across various locations
• Build a culture of performance across the business
• Develop team capacity through leadership, supervision, coaching and mentoring, feedback and growth opportunities
• Provide timely, quality monthly financial reporting and forecasting as directed by the Regional or Operations Manager
• Be accountable and transparent to the Regional or Operations Manager on business risk, governance, contractual and financial performance
• Foster a client-focused team committed to service excellence

Required profile

• Experience in customer service or a client-facing role
• Experience managing and leading a team
• Ideally, experience motivating employees and working with clients to overcome challenges
• Ability to liaise confidently with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Comfortable working towards KPIs and overseeing placements that lead to sustainable employment
• A genuine belief in the company's purpose of connecting people and business
• Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency at the time of applying
