Service and Operations Manager

About the role

A leading energy equipment manufacturer is looking for an experienced service coordinator or supervisor to step into a leadership role as Service and Operations Manager. The position oversees service and warehouse operations across Australia and suits someone with management experience in industrial or machinery industries. It is permanent and full-time, based in the western suburbs of Sydney, and does not accept sponsorship or work visas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of service and warehouse teams across various sites.
• Provide leadership and guidance so that service tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Address complex customer and stakeholder issues professionally and effectively.
• Organise and schedule service work while maintaining high-quality customer experience standards.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and operational protocols.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation.
• Identify and implement strategies for operational improvements.
• Work with teams in other regions to standardise service practices.
• Keep management informed with regular updates and escalate issues as needed.

Required profile

• Solid background in managing service operations, leading teams and improving processes.
• Demonstrated experience leading service operations and teams, preferably in industrial or energy-related sectors.
• Strong skills in resolving customer service escalations and problem solving.
• Familiarity with service management and inventory control systems.
• Permanent residency or an appropriate work visa; sponsorship not available.
