Senior Supply Support Analyst

About the role

Austal Defence Australia is looking for a Senior Supply Support Analyst based in Melbourne. You will deliver end-to-end supply support across complex naval shipbuilding programs, covering provisioning, sparing analysis, inventory assurance, cataloguing and sustainment planning so that vessels remain ready for service throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Execute provisioning, sparing analysis and demand forecasting to support vessel readiness
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), vessel equipage data and supply support records
• Manage cataloguing, codification and inventory data to ensure asset visibility and traceability
• Monitor obsolescence, DMSMS, warranty and shelf-life risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Integrate supply support data across ERP, PLM, configuration management and technical data systems
• Mentor Supply Support Analysts and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Qualification in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Operations or a related discipline
• Experience delivering IPS/ILS supply support in complex defence, maritime or asset-intensive environments
• Eligibility for Defence Security Clearance
• Ability to analyse data, solve complex problems and work with multiple stakeholders

Required skills

• Provisioning, sparing optimisation, inventory management and demand forecasting
• ERP systems, technical data integration and configuration-controlled environments
• ASDEFCON contracting frameworks and DMSMS
• Codification and cataloguing, including NATO-based standards
• Analytical tools for supply planning and forecasting, and IPS or ILS frameworks (desirable)
