Senior Speech Pathologist

About the role

Join Early Start Australia as a Senior Speech Pathologist in Toowoomba, working within a multidisciplinary allied health team to support children and families across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, develop and deliver tailored therapy programs across clinic, home, school and community settings.
• Manage a complex caseload, collaborate with allied health professionals, and provide group therapy and parent workshops.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with privacy, funding, and organisational policies.
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and mentorship of early‑career clinicians.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering evidence‑based therapeutic interventions in early intervention or paediatric allied health settings.
• Strong ability to engage children, families and external stakeholders, with senior clinical knowledge in speech pathology.
• Experience supervising or mentoring peers, graduates or students.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Speech pathology assessment and intervention techniques.
• Knowledge of NDIS processes, funding alignment and reporting.
• Registration with AHPRA and SPANDIS.
• Current Working with Children Check, Police Check and First Aid certification.
