Senior Software Engineer (React)

About the role

UsaXcelerate is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong React expertise to join its dynamic engineering team. You will work on the aXcelerate platform, delivering secure, high-quality full-stack solutions in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive complex projects end-to-end, from technical design through launch.
• Modernise component-driven front-ends within existing applications.
• Promote best practices such as code reviews, unit testing, automation and operational excellence.
• Balance technical debt with product priorities and identify improvement opportunities.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, prototype and implement reliable, secure, high-performance solutions.
• Solve architectural challenges with innovative, industry-aligned approaches.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product and design teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong frontend expertise with React and TypeScript.
• High proficiency with Git and modern version-control workflows.
• Proven ability to resolve customer-facing issues efficiently.
• Collaborative, learning mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Experience with containerisation and serverless technologies in AWS (desirable).
• Backend experience building APIs and serverless functions with Node.js (desirable).
