Developer Programmer – Sonata Application (Superannuation)

About the role

The Developer Programmer will work on the Bravura Sonata platform supporting superannuation administration systems. The role involves gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements while contributing to transformation initiatives, regulatory updates and system integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse change‑request impacts on the Sonata platform and collaborate with SMEs and technical teams.
• Support configuration, enhancement and optimisation of Sonata functionality.
• Validate solution designs against documented business requirements.
• Resolve user tickets, troubleshoot errors and perform debugging within established testing protocols.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, end‑user guides and operational procedures.
• Identify technology limitations, recommend software upgrades and assist with cost‑benefit analyses.
• Fix configuration issues in Sonata used by the BPO team.

Required profile

• Experience working with the Sonata application in a superannuation context.
• Strong analytical skills for business requirement gathering and impact analysis.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Attention to detail in testing, debugging and documentation.
