Senior Site Manager – High Rise Residential Project

About the role

Our client, a growing construction head contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead a high‑rise luxury residential project of 20+ storeys. The role starts around February 2027 and will involve managing a strong team of foremen across structure, façade and finishes, reporting directly to the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site labour, ensuring daily works align with the programme.
• Plan and monitor site activities to maintain productivity, manage deliveries, materials and plant on site.
• Enforce quality standards, WHS policies, conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections and pre‑starts.
• Assist with short‑term programming, look‑ahead schedules and report progress, issues and delays.
• Support defect management, quality inspections and project milestones through to completion.

Required profile

• Trade background preferred with proven experience as a Site Manager on residential or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site operations and Australian building standards.
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving skills and a hands‑on, organised approach.
• Queensland construction experience is ideal, especially on 20+ storey high‑rise residential projects.
