Project Leader - Multi-residential, Residential and Commercial

About the role

Cottee Parker Architects (CPA), an established award-winning architectural practice, is looking for an experienced Project Leader to join its Gold Coast studio. The role manages a diverse portfolio of multi-residential, residential and commercial developments, working closely with Project Directors to lead project teams, coordinate consultants, manage client relationships and oversee design development, documentation and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate architectural projects across multi-residential, residential and commercial sectors
• Manage project teams through design development, documentation and construction phases
• Oversee consultant coordination and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Drive project delivery so that quality, budgets and timelines are achieved
• Maintain high technical and documentation standards using Revit and BIM workflows
• Review project documentation for compliance with the NCC, Australian Standards and local planning requirements
• Provide guidance, support and mentorship to junior team members

Required profile

• Minimum 7+ years' experience within an architectural practice
• Demonstrated experience across multi-residential, residential and commercial projects
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage teams from design through to delivery
• Architectural registration in Australia, or working towards it, highly regarded; Australian permanent residency or citizenship required

Required skills

• Advanced Revit proficiency and strong technical documentation skills
• Sound understanding of construction detailing, the NCC, Australian Standards and local building requirements
• Experience coordinating consultants, managing project programmes and resolving technical challenges
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, and confidence dealing with clients, consultants and contractors
