Minor Works Coordinator

About the role

RMIT is looking for a Minor Works Coordinator based at the Melbourne CBD campus, working hybrid. The role coordinates a high volume of minor works requests across the university's campuses, turning customer requests into practical improvements such as workplace moves, furniture upgrades, signage, services installations and small-scale facility works. It is a continuing full-time position with 7% superannuation and flexible working arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate a high volume of minor works requests so that projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with a strong customer focus.
• Work with stakeholders, contractors and service providers to deliver successful outcomes.
• Manage multiple concurrent tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience coordinating high-volume operational, service delivery or project activities in a complex environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and meet agreed timeframes.
• Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers or service providers to achieve quality outcomes.
• Experience using systems and processes to manage workflow, reporting, documentation and service delivery.
• Commitment to high-quality customer service, attention to detail and continuous improvement.
• Desirable: experience in property, facilities management, workplace relocation or minor works; ability to interpret drawings, layouts or scope documentation; a relevant qualification or equivalent experience in service management, project coordination, facilities or built environment.
