Senior SEO Specialist – Organic Growth

About the role

This senior individual‑contributor position owns Updoc’s organic growth across Australia and the UK. You will design and execute a search strategy that helps people find trusted, convenient healthcare exactly when they need it.

Key responsibilities

• Own the organic search strategy and roadmap, turning company priorities into a sustainable growth plan.
• Grow high‑intent organic traffic that converts into patient demand and demonstrate commercial impact.
• Lead end‑to‑end technical SEO, including crawling, indexing, site architecture, internal linking, structured data, Core Web Vitals, migrations and international SEO.
• Identify and prioritize category, service, symptom, location and programmatic SEO opportunities using search demand, competitive gaps and unit economics.
• Build content briefs and scalable workflows with clinical, brand and content partners to ensure accurate, compliant, high‑trust pages.
• Strengthen Updoc’s authority through digital PR, link acquisition and strategic partnerships.
• Partner with product, engineering, design and growth teams to ship SEO improvements quickly.
• Develop clear reporting and forecasting across rankings, share of search, non‑brand demand, conversions and revenue.
• Monitor AI‑powered search trends and test practical ways to improve visibility.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SEO experience, preferably in high‑growth consumer, marketplace, health, fintech or other trust‑sensitive environments.
• Proven record of delivering measurable organic growth, traffic, conversion or revenue impact.
• Ability to translate data‑driven insights into actionable SEO initiatives.
• Comfortable working across strategy, analysis and hands‑on delivery.
