Senior Recruitment Consultant – Permanent Desk Lead

About the role

SecureIQ Services is expanding its on‑shore permanent recruitment desk and seeks a senior recruitment consultant to own and grow the practice. You will combine business development with placement expertise, leveraging a warm pipeline of existing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new client opportunities and win business across the Australian, New Zealand and US markets.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle for permanent roles, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Collaborate with the offshore staffing and advisory teams to cross‑sell services and capture on‑shore hiring demand.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business.
• Track performance against targets and contribute to desk strategy and growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in agency recruitment, permanent placements or 360‑desk management.
• Demonstrated business‑development success – you can win clients, not just fill roles.
• Self‑starter with the ability to build and own a desk from day one.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Resilience in a target‑driven environment.
