Senior Recruitment Consultant

About the role

Kinexus is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join its permanent recruitment team, focusing on Defence, Engineering and Technical sectors. You will work alongside seasoned recruiters, leveraging existing client relationships and market opportunities while building your own specialist portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established permanent recruitment desk within Defence, Engineering and Technical sectors.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
• Generate new revenue through strategic business development and account growth.
• Partner with hiring managers to deliver high‑quality recruitment solutions across specialist technical disciplines.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines within the target markets.
• Negotiate terms of business and manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ recruitment experience, ideally within Defence, Engineering, Infrastructure or Technical recruitment.
• Proven success managing and growing a profitable permanent recruitment desk.
• Strong business development mindset with ability to win new clients.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Proactive, self‑driven and highly motivated approach.
• Defence industry knowledge or experience with technical and engineering talent markets (highly regarded).
