Senior Project Manager – Solar & Battery Storage

About the role

Lead the delivery of one of Australia’s largest utility‑scale solar farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Victoria. You will report to senior management and oversee engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage major project packages across solar, BESS, civil, electrical and high‑voltage infrastructure.
• Control budgets, forecasting, procurement, subcontractor performance and commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate engineering, design, procurement and construction teams to drive programme performance.
• Support grid connection, testing and commissioning, engaging with AEMO, TNSPs and regulators.
• Identify and manage risks, opportunities, variations and commercial issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Contractor‑side delivery experience on utility‑scale solar farm projects (BESS experience highly regarded).
• Significant experience delivering large‑scale renewable energy, electrical or major civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Strong leadership capability and experience managing high‑performing project teams.
