Senior Project Manager / Senior Consultant

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Senior Consultant to join its Adelaide team. You will work on high‑impact infrastructure projects across defence, government, social infrastructure, resources, energy and renewables, delivering tangible outcomes for communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of infrastructure and capital works projects from planning through to completion.
• Manage project governance, reporting, scheduling, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
• Prepare high‑quality client deliverables such as reports, presentations, meeting minutes and project documentation.
• Administer contracts for Aurecon and third‑party parties.
• Manage commercial risks for both the project and the business.
• Conduct analysis and problem‑solving to support project outcomes and client decisions.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to workshops, meetings and project communications.
• Oversee tasks and workstreams to meet time, cost and quality targets.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in a Project Management capacity.
• Background in engineering, construction, consulting, defence or government environments is highly regarded.
• Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
