About the role
ACCIONA is delivering major infrastructure works for Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) in Port Adelaide, including the Link Road Project – a 400 m bridge over rail with extensive utilities works. As a Health & Safety Advisor you will lead occupational risk prevention across this defence‑related construction site, tailoring safety measures to the specific environment, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with OH&S regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments across work areas and workstations
- Update and adjust site‑specific prevention plans
- Monitor OH&S regulatory compliance across construction operations
- Investigate accidents and identify root causes and corrective actions
- Implement the corporate occupational risk prevention protocol on site
- Translate corporate safety objectives into operational site plans
- Collaborate with project and corporate teams on corrective actions from audits
