Senior Project Manager - Real Estate

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company active in real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources, is looking for a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager for its Real Estate team in Brisbane. You will support and lead large-scale projects, manage a team, keep a commercial focus and balance work across major projects. The role is offered on a FIFO/DIDO basis, and the company is open to candidates across Australia who can commit to the required site presence.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the key client interface for large-scale projects, building working relationships, solving problems and driving projects to successful completion.
• Manage the design process to meet client requirements and manage expectations.
• Review project plans and specifications, schedules, cost-saving measures, discrepancies and potential construction problems.
• Manage project safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage project timelines, risks and reporting.
• Manage project budgets and advise on options to keep the budget on track.
• Lead and manage a team directly.

Required profile

• A recognised degree in a technical field such as engineering, construction management or project management.
• At least 3 years of industry experience; education project experience is ideal.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and develop a team.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong report and bid writing skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft skills are essential.
• Premavera skills are highly regarded.
• Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
