Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, client‑focused Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction and property projects across a diverse range of sectors in Sydney. You will manage projects from planning and design through procurement, construction and handover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle: planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Establish and manage scopes, programs, budgets, risk registers and delivery strategies.
• Conduct client and stakeholder meetings, prepare agendas and provide clear updates and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain master budgets, timelines, forecasts and financial reports.
• Manage consultants, contractors and suppliers, overseeing selection, engagement and performance.
• Review project documentation, drawings, progress claims, variations, change orders and invoices.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, safety requirements, governance frameworks and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years’ project management experience in construction, property or built‑environment sectors.
• Proven delivery of diverse, complex projects across multiple sectors or client portfolios.
• Strong commercial judgement, technical delivery expertise and ability to work independently.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Australian citizenship required for government security clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
