Senior Project Manager – Enterprise SaaS Transformation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the integrated delivery of our Banner SaaS implementation and related business transformation programme. This 12‑month fixed‑term role is based at our Surry Hills campus and offers hybrid flexible working.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive programme plan covering milestones, dependencies, resources and critical path activities.
• Establish governance, executive reporting, assurance and escalation processes.
• Coordinate functional, technical, data, integration, security, testing, training and change workstreams.
• Manage scope, requirements, risks, issues, dependencies, change control and formal approvals.
• Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for implementation partners, system integrators and third‑party vendors.
• Oversee vendor performance, service levels, commercial obligations and escalations.
• Lead integrated testing, cut‑over and operational‑readiness planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex enterprise technology, SaaS or student information system programmes.
• Strong programme planning, governance, risk and change management skills.
• Ability to work in matrixed, distributed environments and influence senior stakeholders.
• Relevant project or programme management qualifications (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent).

Required skills

• Ellucian Banner (or comparable higher‑education platform) implementation experience.
• SaaS delivery and enterprise systems integration.
• Data migration, testing and cut‑over coordination.
• Vendor management and contract oversight.
