Light & Wonder - iGaming · Sydney et périphérie
Job description
About the role
Light & Wonder is looking for a Studio Lead / Office Manager to run the day-to-day of its Lightning Box studio in Sydney. The role is part operations lead, part office manager and part culture-keeper, keeping the studio running so designers, artists and mathematicians can focus on games. It is a hands-on, highly visible position reporting to the VP of Game Studios NorAm.
Key responsibilities
- Support production teams with project coordination: scheduling, meeting logistics and cross-team communication.
- Work with wider LNW teams to keep full visibility of the studio roadmap, and align regularly with the team in Pune on game delivery and management.
- Own day-to-day studio operations and act as first point of contact for facilities, vendors and general office needs.
- Manage the physical workspace: layout, equipment, hardware and peripherals for dev teams and supplies.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics, including workstations, access, seating and studio orientation.
- Plan and run studio events, team offsites, milestone celebrations and visitor programmes.
- Manage relationships with landlords, building management, IT/facilities vendors and service contracts.
- Support budget tracking for office and studio spend, including procurement and expense processing.
- Partner with HR, IT and Studio Leadership on health and safety, compliance and workplace policy.
- Act as a culture champion, fostering an inclusive environment and resolving day-to-day workplace issues.
- Manage studio calendars, travel arrangements and visiting stakeholder schedules.
Required profile
- 3+ years' experience in office management, studio operations or a similar operational role, ideally in games, tech or a creative studio.
- Experience in a game development, digital entertainment or iGaming studio is a strong plus.
- Excellent organisational skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with developers, artists, leadership and vendors.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset and discretion with confidential information.
Required skills
- Proficiency with office and productivity tools.
- Familiarity with AI software is a major plus.
What we offer
- Competitive benefits and a modern, open and supportive workplace.
- Regular interaction with global teams and work on innovative gaming projects.
- Genuine development opportunities within a growing small team in a waterfront Sydney office.
