Senior Product Designer

About the role

As a Senior Product Designer you will work within a cross‑functional squad to shape a next‑generation operations platform for CommBank. You will own significant problem areas, guiding design from early framing through delivery and continuous improvement while operating with a high degree of autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design for complex operational challenges, delivering scalable experience solutions.
• Drive discovery, define hypotheses, set success measures and use evidence to shape direction.
• Create experience models, flows and interaction patterns that scale across multiple use cases.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Data to influence priorities and resolve misalignments.
• Raise design quality, mentor teammates and contribute to the broader design community.

Required profile

• Strong experience designing complex digital products or platforms end‑to‑end within cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to own and drive design outcomes independently in ambiguous, high‑complexity environments.
• Demonstrated systems thinking and ability to design for scale across workflows.
• Confidence influencing product, engineering and business stakeholders with clear rationale.

Required skills

• Figma (including Figma Make)
• Claude Code
• Codex or similar AI‑assisted design tooling
