Senior Producer – Post‑Production

About the role

Intermission Film is seeking a Senior Producer with strong post‑production experience to join its Melbourne team. You will work across high‑profile film and streaming campaigns, shaping projects from early creative development through to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Take senior production ownership across AV projects, from creative development through to finishing and final delivery.
• Act as a trusted client contact, managing questions, feedback, expectations and changing requirements.
• Manage projects through offline, online, grade, mix, versioning, QC and final delivery, ensuring schedules, approvals and resources are aligned.
• Coordinate across Creative, Production, Online, Audio, Operations and Technical teams, and manage external post‑production partners.
• Identify and resolve post‑production issues early, maintain commercial awareness of scope, resources and schedules.

Required profile

• Significant production experience within film, television, streaming or entertainment marketing.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities.
• Strong judgement, problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Calm, collaborative approach and ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members.

Required skills

• Full knowledge of post‑production and finishing workflows, including online, grade, audio mix, versioning, QC and delivery.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into clear plans for internal and external teams.
• Strong commercial awareness of scope, resource allocation and cost implications.
