Senior Planner - Mining Projects

About the role

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES), a process engineering consulting and contracting company serving the mining and mineral processing industries, is looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join its Ascot (Perth) team. You will own the planning for major mining and minerals processing projects, lead Primavera P6 scheduling, forecasting and reporting, and work across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver agreed project plans, progress reports and forecast project milestones
• Schedule in Primavera P6
• Develop Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 schedules with resourcing
• Carry out schedule risk analysis and report on schedule data
• Maintain effective working relationships with key project personnel, internally and externally

Required profile

• Degree qualification in Engineering, Mining, Construction or a related field or trade
• Experience across a diverse portfolio of brownfield and greenfield projects
• Experience on both onsite and remote locations, as occasional site visits are required
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and strong spreadsheet and data management skills
• Software experience (essential)
