Electrical Project Coordinator

About the role

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES), a process engineering consulting and contracting company serving the mining and mineral processing industries, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator for its Ascot head office. The role reports to the Electrical Manager and involves supporting a range of projects and taking part in the day-to-day organisation and management of electrical construction projects. It is primarily based in the Perth office with occasional site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Labour management
• Procurement and expediting of materials
• Plant, equipment and tooling management
• Project tracking and reporting
• Interface between project engineering and construction, and between construction and commissioning
• Ensure site electrical installations comply with statutory requirements and GRES specifications

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar or supervisory role in the construction of mineral process plants
• Current WA electrical licence
• Current driver's licence
• Current national police clearance within 3 months
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
• Able to become a nominee on the company's electrical contracting licence
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights and current residence in Perth
