Senior Pharmacist – Education

About the role

Western Health is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join as a Senior Pharmacist – Education. In this newly created position you will help shape the pharmacy workforce by collaborating with the Lead Pharmacist – Education and Research to launch and grow a pharmacy clinical educator program across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the pharmacy clinical educator program.
• Oversee the AdPhA Foundation Residency Program.
• Provide and coordinate education and training for pharmacy staff.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years hospital pharmacy experience.
• Proven experience delivering pharmacy education programmes or equivalent.
• Demonstrated project‑management experience.
• Understanding of varied learning and supervision styles and ability to apply them.
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy services.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and time‑management skills.

Required skills

What we offer

• Grade 3 salary level with superannuation and salary packaging.
• Part‑time schedule – 41.8 hours per fortnight (four days per week).
• Fixed‑term contract until August 2027.
