Senior Paid Search Manager

About the role

Canva is looking for a Senior Paid Search Manager to own and grow a portfolio of search accounts across multiple markets from its Sydney campus. You will lead strategy, execution and optimisation while collaborating with regional and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of SEM, Performance Max/Shopping, Google App Campaigns, Apple Ads and emerging AI‑driven search surfaces, driving performance and budget decisions.
• Act as the go‑to search expert for assigned markets, communicating strategy and results to stakeholders.
• Develop global search strategy, incorporate AI tools for automation, and support new market launches and platform changes.
• Partner with measurement, data and AdTech teams on experimentation, tracking and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience running multi‑market Search & Shopping accounts at scale, with significant budgets.
• Hands‑on expertise with Google Ads, Bing Ads and a bid‑management platform such as SA360.
• Strong analytical mindset, able to dive into data, spot anomalies and ensure account hygiene.
• Excellent communication skills, translating technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
