Senior Occupational Therapist

About the role

Ability Action Australia is expanding its team on the Central Coast and seeks a Senior Occupational Therapist to deliver community‑based support to NDIS participants. You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, managing a caseload that matches your experience and interests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload and provide timely, evidence‑based therapeutic services.
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function using clinical observations and standardised assessments.
• Interpret assessment findings to set individualized treatment goals and deliver interventions that enhance quality of life.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compliance with current legislation and optimise participant outcomes.
• Mentor graduates and early‑career clinicians, supporting their professional growth.

Required profile

• Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA.
• Experience as an Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist beyond graduation.
• Passion for community‑based disability support.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
