Senior National Account Manager

About the role

Bayer Consumer Health is looking for an experienced Senior National Account Manager to lead strategic pharmacy partnerships with Sigma Wholesale, Chemist Warehouse Australia, Amcal and DDS. This high‑visibility position will shape customer strategy, drive category growth and deliver sustainable business outcomes across Australia’s most important consumer‑health customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute joint business plans, annual growth plans and trading agreements that align customer priorities with Bayer’s commercial objectives.
• Own sales, profitability, market share, distribution, forecasting and investment outcomes for the portfolio.
• Lead negotiations on promotional planning, retail media investment and customer‑specific commercial arrangements.
• Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and act as Bayer’s primary commercial contact.
• Leverage customer, category, shopper and financial insights to identify growth opportunities and influence innovation and activation decisions.
• Partner with Marketing, Category, Finance, Supply Chain, Trade Activation and Sales teams to ensure best‑in‑class execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years managing large, strategic customer relationships in consumer health, pharmacy, FMCG or a complex retail environment.
• Proven track record delivering sales growth, profitability and market‑share improvements.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing trade investment, ROI and P&L outcomes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Power BI and related reporting tools for data‑driven decision making.
