Senior Manager, Productivity – Group Ops, Transformation Office

About the role

The Senior Manager, Productivity leads the Productivity Office, overseeing ANZ’s enterprise productivity pipeline and ensuring initiatives deliver committed value. Reporting to the GM, Productivity, the role works across divisions, Finance and executive stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day management of the enterprise productivity pipeline, tracking initiatives, milestones, commitments and value realisation.
• Orchestrate delivery by working with divisions and initiative owners, clarifying accountabilities and managing recovery actions.
• Partner with Finance to align productivity targets, financial assumptions and benefit profiles.
• Identify and mitigate material delivery risks, issues and cross‑portfolio dependencies.
• Lead problem‑solving for complex or stalled initiatives and escalate to executives when needed.
• Establish disciplined operating rhythms for pipeline reviews, governance and executive reporting.
• Provide direction, coaching and oversight to Productivity Leads and Senior Analyst.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading complex enterprise transformation, productivity or portfolio execution in a large organisation.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑initiative pipelines, including delivery planning, benefits, financials and executive governance.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience partnering with Finance.
• Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and resolving complex delivery problems.
• Advanced analytical judgement and ability to translate complex information into clear priorities and executive recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive reporting and facilitation of senior governance forums.
• People leadership, coaching and team development capability.
