Senior Manager – Accounting & Business Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Accounting & Business Services division. Reporting to Partners and Directors, you will oversee a team delivering accounting, tax compliance and advisory services to high‑growth technology and life‑science start‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team of accountants and advisors.
• Deliver high‑quality accounting, taxation, compliance and advisory services to innovative start‑ups.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and revenue growth.
• Identify value‑added advisory opportunities and support business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Partners and Directors on strategic growth and operational improvements.
• Provide technical guidance on complex financial statements, tax compliance and advisory engagements.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to professional standards.
• Contribute to a collaborative culture and identify referral opportunities across divisions.
• Drive team engagement, performance, development and succession planning.
• Stay current with legislative changes and industry developments to proactively support clients.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Accounting & Business Services, public practice or a similar professional services environment.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring accounting teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing client relationships.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late evenings for US and EU clients.

Required skills
