Senior Legal Counsel - Litigation (10+ Years PQE)

About the role

A rapidly growing global technology and entertainment company is seeking a proactive litigation lawyer with 10+ years of post-qualification experience to take ownership of a dynamic caseload in a fast-paced environment. The role covers complex arbitrations and broader disputes within Australia and globally, with a supportive team and strong development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale international mediations and arbitrations arising from consumer disputes, including strategy, evidence preparation, settlement negotiations and coordination with external counsel and overseas stakeholders.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of domestic litigation and dispute resolution matters, from assessment and strategy through to trial, settlement or alternative dispute resolution.
• Provide strategic advice and representation on regulatory investigations, inquiries and enforcement actions.
• Develop and implement dispute-resolution strategies that minimise commercial, reputational and regulatory risk.
• Instruct and manage external counsel, domestic and international.
• Advise the business proactively on risk mitigation and compliance.
• Mentor junior lawyers.

Required profile

• 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong litigation experience from private practice or an in-house environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive work ethic and agile working style.
