Senior Lecturer, School of Law (Indigenous Identified Role)

About the role

Western Sydney University is seeking a dedicated Senior Lecturer for the School of Law. This full‑time, continuing position is identified for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants and offers hybrid flexibility between Parramatta and Campbelltown campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative learning activities for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.
• Develop assessment tools, enhance curriculum and ensure academic quality assurance.
• Maintain a productive research profile, contribute to grant applications and supervise higher degree research students.
• Engage with industry, legal professionals and community partners to strengthen the School’s reputation.

Required profile

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
• PhD in a relevant area of law with a demonstrated research track record.
• Experience in teaching and curriculum design at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
