Senior Laboratory Technician – Soil & Concrete Testing

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our Perth team, performing hands‑on testing of soil and concrete materials for major construction and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong CMT experience, knowledge of Australian Standards, and a commitment to accurate testing and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Test soils and concrete in the laboratory following Australian Standards.
• Produce clear, accurate and concise reports.
• Manage daily testing requirements and client expectations.
• Carry out physical laboratory tasks.
• Provide excellent service to construction clients.
• Lead by example and support junior staff.

Required profile

• Strong practical experience in soil and concrete testing to Australian Standards.
• Team‑oriented attitude with solid communication skills and work ethic.
• Proven ability to produce complete laboratory records and reports.
• Valid Australian working rights with no hour restrictions.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (highly regarded).
