Senior Human Resources Advisor

About the role

This senior HR advisory position offers a varied generalist role on a 4:3/4:3 drive‑in, drive‑out roster. You will work closely with site management, contributing to HR improvement projects, training line managers, and using workforce data to support decision‑making in the mining sector.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice and support to line management across a broad range of employee matters.
• Manage generalist HR casework, including performance management, employee relations, grievances and basic disciplinaries.
• Review, develop and improve HR processes, procedures and ways of working.
• Develop and facilitate training and development initiatives to strengthen line‑management capability.
• Analyse workforce data, prepare reports and identify trends for improvement.
• Support broader HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Strong HR generalist experience with case‑management exposure.
• Experience developing or improving HR processes, procedures and systems.
• Confidence in developing and facilitating training for line managers.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting HR data and producing reports.
• Clear, confident communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices and Australian employment legislation.
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline (highly regarded).
