Recruitment Lead – Electrical

About the role

KAEFER is seeking a Recruitment Lead to drive talent acquisition for electrical scopes across its operations in Perth. The role focuses on attracting, assessing and hiring skilled professionals to support the company’s technical industrial services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies targeting electrical trades and engineering talent.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle – sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring.
• Partner with hiring managers to create accurate job descriptions and staffing plans.
• Utilise job boards, social media and networking to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Coordinate onboarding with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Monitor recruitment metrics, report outcomes to senior management and continuously improve processes.
• Maintain relationships with agencies, educational institutions and other external partners.

Required profile

• Background in electrical works (trade or engineering) with relevant tertiary qualification or trade certification.
• Proven network within Australia’s resources market for electrical trades.
• Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in mining or construction.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed for recruitment activities.

Required skills

• Recruitment software and tools proficiency.
• Knowledge of electrical scopes and disciplines.
