Senior HR Advisor (Perth)

About the role

This is a key HR position supporting the Western Australia business of a global organisation, with plenty of variety across the people function. As Senior HR Advisor, you will be the main contact for the WA team, partnering with managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. The role reports to a senior HR leader based interstate and covers the full end-to-end HR generalist function, including employee relations, performance, payroll inputs, talent, HR operations and organisational change. There is also the opportunity to join broader ANZ projects with the wider People team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR contact for the WA business
• Partner with leaders and managers on day-to-day people matters
• Coordinate payroll inputs and work with external payroll providers
• Provide practical advice on employee relations, performance and workplace policies
• Support the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to retention and development
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment activity
• Support talent management, succession planning and leadership development
• Assist with organisational change and people projects

Required profile

• An experienced HR generalist comfortable working independently
• Broad exposure across the people function and a go-to person for HR matters
• 3 years of experience

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation
• Solid experience interpreting Awards
• Experience in employee relations and performance management
• Exposure to payroll administration or working with a payroll provider
