Senior General Developer

About the role

Ressam is seeking a Senior General Developer to join the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. The role is based in Queensland, ACT, Victoria or New South Wales and requires an Australian citizen with an active Baseline security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and maintain enterprise applications using IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) and .NET technologies.
• Author, test, deploy and manage business rules in IBM ODM to support decision automation.
• Build and maintain Power BI reports, datasets and dashboards aligned with business reporting needs.
• Implement application components with C#, ASP.NET and Web APIs, ensuring reliability, security and scalability.
• Optimise performance, availability and security of applications and reporting solutions.
• Create and execute unit tests, debug defects and adhere to coding standards and documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, testers and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle in an Agile/SAFe environment.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with an active Baseline security clearance.
• Proven experience in senior software development roles within Agile or SAFe frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively in a DevOps‑oriented, cross‑functional team.
