Senior Finance Business Partner - Margin and Marketing

About the role

Stake is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join its Finance team in Sydney. The role sits at the intersection of Finance, Marketing, Product and Commercial functions, helping the business allocate capital and maximise long‑term value. You will work in a hybrid model, spending three days a week in Stake’s dog‑friendly office.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Marketing, Product and Commercial leaders to shape strategic and investment decisions.
• Develop and maintain frameworks for customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), attribution and channel economics.
• Provide forecasting, scenario planning and resource allocation insights across Trade, Super, Save and Rewards products.
• Build reliable reporting and performance measurement systems that become the trusted source of truth.
• Translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for non‑finance teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance business partnering within a fast‑growing, product‑focused environment.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical thinking and financial rigour.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
