About the role

Join Health Translation Queensland as a Senior Executive Assistant, supporting the Executive Director and contributing to the translation of research into real‑world health outcomes across Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Provide seamless executive support, managing complex diaries, travel arrangements, and workflow for the Executive Director.
• Coordinate governance activities, including meetings, committees, and stakeholder engagements, ensuring high‑quality documentation and follow‑up.
• Oversee financial administration such as budgeting, transaction processing, and reconciliations in line with University policies.
• Lead the organisation of projects, events, and communications that advance HTQ’s strategic priorities and partnerships.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering high‑level executive support in a complex, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional organisational ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate needs, and meet deadlines accurately.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with academia, government, industry, and community stakeholders.
• Demonstrated discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Robust financial administration experience, including budgeting, reconciliations, and transaction processing.
• Sound problem‑solving judgement with the capacity to take initiative and appropriately escalate issues.

• Annual salary range $97,268 – $104,348 plus 17% superannuation (HEW Level 6).
