Senior Electrical Engineer – Transmission and Distribution

About the role

Develop your career as a Senior Electrical Engineer supporting and leading the delivery of transmission and distribution projects for clients across Australia, New Zealand and globally. You will guide project delivery teams, shape technical standards and make a tangible impact on critical energy infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering reviews, designs, calculations and technical advisory tasks to meet project requirements.
• Support and lead project delivery excellence by arranging technical verification tasks and adhering to AECOM’s standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across transmission, distribution and related disciplines to deliver innovative solutions.
• Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on secondary systems matters.
• Identify design discrepancies, contribute to problem solving and mentor graduate engineers.

Required profile

• More than 5 years of experience delivering complex electrical transmission and distribution designs.
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, budgets and timelines in a consultancy environment.
• Strong client engagement and communication skills.
• ASP Level 3 accreditation and a relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
