Senior Consultant – Infrastructure Advisory

About the role

BDO’s Project & Infrastructure Advisory team supports government and private sector clients across Queensland and Northern Australia. As a Senior Consultant you will work on a variety of infrastructure advisory engagements, developing financial, commercial and strategic expertise while interacting directly with clients and senior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test and maintain financial models for business cases, feasibility studies, investment decisions and pricing.
• Conduct financial, commercial and strategic analysis of infrastructure and development projects, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare high‑quality reports, presentations and client materials, translating complex analysis into clear recommendations.
• Take ownership of defined workstreams, manage deliverables and deadlines, and contribute to proposals and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years’ experience in infrastructure advisory, management consulting, corporate finance or a related field.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative consulting environment.
