Cost Controller

About the role

Green Grid Connect is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to establish and maintain robust cost control processes across pre‑contract and project delivery phases for large‑scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop budgets, cost plans and forecasts for projects.
• Monitor project costs, analyse financial performance and produce cost reports for stakeholders.
• Integrate schedule and cost data, identify variances and track corrective actions.
• Assess risks, devise cost mitigation strategies and ensure governance of cost control systems.
• Support end‑of‑month financial reporting and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, delivery and finance teams.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Extensive experience in project cost management within energy, utilities, high‑voltage, substation, BESS or large‑scale infrastructure environments.
• Proven background on Design & Construct projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
