Senior Consultant – Corporate Tax Compliance

About the role

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Consultant who is ready to take their career to the next level and grow with us. KPMG is looking for a highly talented tax professional with Australian corporate tax experience for our Delivery and Data Excellence (DDX) team. The team delivers corporate tax compliance services to a broad range of KPMG Australia clients, using best‑practice technology such as tax return engines, workflow tools and data‑analytical platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with high‑performing teams, leveraging data delivery tools and technology to provide tax compliance and advisory services—including distribution reviews and tax returns—to financial services clients.
• Ensure all work is of high quality, technically accurate and delivered on time.
• Innovate and support continuous‑improvement initiatives that enhance tax‑compliance processes, tools, technology and client‑value products.

Required profile

• Organised, efficient and detail‑oriented with a proven ability to deliver impactful outcomes.
• Can‑do attitude, constantly seeking creative solutions and generating innovative ideas that improve processes and solve complex problems.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative and influencing skills, able to work effectively within a team.
• Extensive Australian corporate tax compliance experience, including preparation/review of company and trust tax returns, distribution reviews and tax provisions.
• Ability to produce high‑quality, client‑ready deliverables with meticulous attention to detail.
• Honest, ethical approach and a continuous‑improvement mindset aligned with KPMG’s values.
• Successful completion of a Masters of Tax or CA qualification.
