Senior Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to partner with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain. In this high‑visibility role you will shape commercial strategy, influence key decisions and drive profitable growth for our Grocery Business Unit within a leading FMCG organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior business leaders to develop and execute commercial strategies that deliver profitable growth.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term strategic planning for the Grocery Business Unit.
• Provide commercial insights, financial modelling and strategic analysis to support investment, pricing, innovation and other business decisions.
• Evaluate new product development, innovation and private‑label opportunities to ensure strong commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Growth Management teams to optimise pricing, promotional spend and portfolio performance.
• Monitor business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve profitability.
• Champion financial governance, continuous improvement and best practices across commercial finance processes.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing finance team while building strong cross‑functional partnerships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial finance, finance business partnering or commercial leadership within a complex organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape strategic decisions.
• Exceptional business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to challenge constructively.
• Advanced analytical capabilities and a track record of delivering commercial outcomes.
