Senior Civil Design Engineer – Buildings and Urban Development

About the role

A well-regarded engineering consultancy in the Melbourne CBD is growing its civil team and is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with a buildings background. The role suits someone who wants to run their own projects end to end, designing and managing civil infrastructure for built form such as stormwater, earthworks, pavements and urban development. The office is in the CBD, about five minutes from Flinders Street station and the same from Southern Cross.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver your own projects, with your own team, and coordinate with multidisciplinary colleagues
• Build your own client relationships and take responsibility for your own work
• Manage your own time, with results rather than desk hours being what matters
• Run 5 to 15 concurrent projects across various scales and sectors

Required profile

• 6 to 15 years' experience in building civils
• Melbourne-based design background
• Degree qualified
• Ability to make decisions and back yourself

Required skills

• Civil3D proficiency
• 12D proficiency
