Senior Business Analyst - ICT (AR) - Power BI & Reporting

About the role

M&T Resources is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Power BI and reporting) to support enterprise reporting, analytics and business intelligence initiatives in a large public sector environment. The role focuses on gathering requirements, analysing data, improving reporting and delivering insights that support strategic decisions. It is based in Brisbane CBD with hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business and reporting requirements
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and business process analysis
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
• Analyse, validate and cleanse data to ensure reporting accuracy
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver BI solutions
• Support testing, implementation and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in reporting, analytics and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into reporting solutions
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Highly regarded: experience in government or large enterprise environments, data warehousing and data modelling, and knowledge of reporting governance and data management
