Senior Business Analyst - M&T Resources

About the role

A leading Queensland organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major business and technology transformation initiative within a large and complex organisation. The role drives business analysis across multiple projects, working with stakeholders to understand, document and improve business processes while supporting enterprise technology solutions. It is based in Brisbane CBD on a hybrid basis, with an ASAP contract starting in June 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather business requirements
• Analyse, document and optimise business processes using BPMN methodologies
• Develop current state and future state process maps using tools such as Visio
• Produce high-quality business and functional requirements documentation
• Support delivery of enterprise application and digital transformation projects
• Collaborate with technical teams so business requirements become effective solutions
• Contribute to testing, implementation and continuous improvement
• Support Agile project delivery and backlog management

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in software development or technology-focused environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement, process improvement and requirement translation skills
• Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations
• Exposure to Agile, Azure DevOps and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
• Highly regarded: experience in legal, regulatory, government or highly governed environments, and knowledge of workflow, case management or operational process frameworks
